WHY SOME MEN REALLY DO LIKE PLUS SIZE CURVY GIRLS!
I’m not skinny, I used to be, but even back in the day I was unhappy about my figure. When I lost my late husband of 26 years, in 2019, there was a big part of me that longed to be married again. I loved and love being married. I loved being loved. After his passing, I thought that nobody would love me for my plus size curvy body. I had been off the market for over 28 years. The thing that changed my mind about missing skinny me, was that men were still hitting on me. It was nice. At first I was a little shocked about it all; but then I came to realize that some men really do like plus size curvy girls!
Why do some men like plus size curvy women you ask? Here’s what I’ve learnt.
Bigger Boobs. There are many men who are “boob” men, and curvy women have bigger boobs. It is just that simple. They don’t mind the few extra inches around the middle, as long as they get to play with the goods. Junk in the Trunk. I can't recall there being a song about flat butts. Everyone has heard of the song 'Baby Got Back' by Sir Mix-a-lot.

“Baby Got Back” was inspired by Anthony “Sir Mix-A-Lot” Ray’s frustration with seeing feminine beauty in America portrayed as a valley-girl "popsicle stick" figure" in ads like the Spuds Mackenzie Budweiser series. He was also frustrated watching his full-figured girlfriend at the time Amylia Dorsey struggle to get work as an actress and model.
Curvy women are softer, and men like to be the strong, hard ones in a relationship. It’s satisfying for a guy to curl up and snuggle someone soft and round. I prefer my guy with a little weight for one main reason; I hate having bruised thighs after sleeping with my man. A softer body isn’t as hard on my thighs, and I have been told that sentiment works both ways.
Men like to eat. They do not want to be the only ones eating when they go out; it’s weird for them. If you’re sitting there nibbling a salad, and you finish an hour before he’s done with his steak and potatoes, he gets pretty nervous about it. Men like curvy women because they eat with them, and it’s always more comfortable to eat with someone, than to have someone sit and watch you eat. Plus food can be sexy. My husband actually won't eat, unless I am eating with him.
Men are not afraid to get a little rough. I must confess that skinny me felt a lot more discomfort. I’ve never had that problem with my curves. I guess a curvy girl can handle it, and men like that. My Hot Husband and I have been gettin' jiggy for almost 5 years now, and he can’t get enough. He has zero complaints about my body. He loves a curvy woman, and may have to take a fat joke or two now and then from his buddies, but he doesn't give a shit. He’s into me, he thinks I’m hot AF, and the size of my body means nothing negative to him. He met me while I was heavy, and he chose me for my curves. In fact, my thighs are his favorite part of my body.
Curves are classic beauty. All of the old, classic statues and paintings had women with curves. From ancient Greece to the Renaissance, women who had large, cellulite thighs and chubby arms were considered beautiful. There is a reason for this; women who are curvy are known to be well fed. Food is a sign of health. Food is also a sign of wealth, especially in 2024, being able to afford food and all. It has been proven that during times of economic depression or repression, more men preferred curvy women, because in their mind, they associated it with health and wealth.
Men also like curvy women because, generally, they look younger. It’s true, that extra fat smooth’s out those wrinkles, ladies! I got told the other day I looked thirty two. I’m fifty-four. My round cheeks play a big role in looking younger.
Many men associate curves with the “mother” figure and a more mature woman. Italian men, Hawaiian men, Jamaican men, Greek men, and I can't forget to mention Lebanese men (shout out here to my Hot Hubs), are excellent examples of guys who like their women a little on the rounder side. There are even men who like their women a LOT on the rounder side!
Gentlemen may prefer blondes, but stressed men prefer heavier women -- at least according to a study published in 2012. An article in Time magazine, had this to say. "A new study finds: when under stress, for instance, men prefer heavier women. The study, published in the journal PLoS ONE, reports that when men were placed in stressful situations, then asked to rate the attractiveness of women of varying body sizes, they preferred beefier frames, compared with unstressed men whose tastes skewed thinner." Men all over the world are more stressed than they have ever been. Curvy ladies, your time is now!
Curvy women can also capture the hearts of men with their self-assurance, charm, and irresistible appeal. Our curves are just a bonus that makes us even more attractive. We are never boring to be around because of our positive, fun, and kind personalities, which are also quite interesting. We love to chat and keep our relationship lively. It’s these qualities that make us truly special.
More than ever before, women with more bounce-to-the-ounce, are being encouraged to flaunt what they have. All over the world, there are beauty pageants specially designed for voluptuous women. If you are a plus sized curvy women worrying about needing to lose weight, stop it, and just appreciate your body as it is. Don’t hide your figure, go out and flaunt it! There are men, thousands of men, that love themselves a squishy, soft, fun, cuddly, kind, nurturing, big butt, big thighed, big boobed, curvy woman.
