"Food for Thought"
Language is woven with idioms and phrases that have stood the test of time. These expressions not only convey meaning, but also provide glimpses into the cultural and historical contexts from which they originate. One such intriguing phrase is “food for thought.”
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have DOMINO'S!
Genesis 1:26.....................or something like that!
Christians, Muslims, and Jews worship the same God, but have been fighting for thousands of years because they disagree on who "His Best Messenger was". Imagine killing your brothers and sisters, because even though you all agree Domino's Pizza is the best, you disagree on who the best delivery person is. I have just started picking up the Pizza myself. It is much easier, there are less fees, and nobody has to be killed!!
A rabbi was asked by one of his students “Why did God create atheists?” After a long pause, the rabbi finally responded with a soft but sincere voice. “God created atheists” he said, “to teach us the most important lesson of them all – the lesson of true compassion. You see, when an atheist performs an act of charity, visits someone who is sick, helps someone in need, and cares for the world, he is not doing so because of some religious teaching. He does not believe that God commanded him to perform this act. In fact, he does not believe in God at all, so his actions are based on his sense of morality. Look at the kindness he bestows on others simply because he feels it to be right. When someone reaches out to you for help, you should never say "I’ll pray that God will help you." Instead, for that moment, you should become an atheist, and just imagine there is no God who could help, and simply say "I will help you.”
Food for thought............All that is Holy is Pizza!
Maybe one day Pizza will be recognized as a religion.......but I doubt that!!!
